We ascended Mt. Willey via the Kendon Flume, Ethan Pond and Willey Range trails. The trails were quite steep and difficult at times, but there were some nice outlooks near the summit, one looking NE over Crawford Notch, and another looking SE over the Pemegewasset Wilderness.

High Points:

• Eighty thousand leaf-peepers at the notch
• "Clean mountain air"
• Bird watching (and feeding)
• Jerry almost falling to his death on the way down
