In preperation for the "Race Against the Sun", the M.O.T.D. "eased" into the season with a hike up Mt. Garfield. Unfortunatly, it was not all that easy. We took the Garfield trail to the summit.

High Points:

• The road to the trailhead being blocked off
• Dug's roadside hat (and his attempts to put it on Bow-tah's head)
• Four feet of snow at the summit
• The summit building
• Thwarting death once again
• Does anyone have any extra toes boots socks lunch water ?
• Dinner at the pizza place (not the URL of Sandwitch - it was closed)
